Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American presenter on television, model and actress is an American comedian. She was the youngest contestant to ever finish 2nd. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in the year 2012. She was 4 at when she was diagnosed. The cause of her sickness was an aggressive strain of the strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. Her kidneys did not recover when she contracted an infection that was septic and she suffered multiple organ malfunctions. The rest of her life was a new routine of hemodialysis and peritoneal dilution. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica nearly died but was on the road of healing. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half of that time before she was able to undergo her kidney transplant. It was her mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica Hale had a successful kidney transplant alongside her mother on the 13th September 2013. The operation was carried out at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's dream to be an international star has not waned.
