Donald Joseph Qualls better known as his screen title DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is a producer, actor and model. Since gaining fame with his role as a character in Road Trip, he's appeared in more than 20 films. These include The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. As well as appearing in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and Lost Law & Order along with numerous others. Qualls has been diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a strong fighter. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. His body was badly affected by treatment, and his development was slowed down. Since he grew up in poverty, he wanted to be financially secure. He stated, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I need financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control for me." In a conversation, he also reflects on his childhood. He is determined to end bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. On and off the screen, DJ could love to play a father. The director doesn't choose him for these roles however, he claims. He'd like to be the father of his child one day so he can devote more time to his son and not be so occupied with his work.
